Untitled Goose Game was one of the internet’s favorite games of 2019, as it was ripe with meme-worthy moments and random acts of chaos. Although he struggled with some bosses and ultimately missed one of the required beads, LilAggy showcased some impressive Sekiro skill. This speedrun category takes you through most of the game’s main and mini-bosses with a flurry of sword parries and out-of-bounds glitches. Sekiro is another one of my potential selections for the best game of 2019, so I was especially happy to see this All Memories run by LilAggy pop up on the schedule.

Project 8 was one of the first Tony Hawk games to prioritize missions over time trials, so this speedrun contained a lot more variety than your standard Tony Hawk run. I’ve always loved Tony Hawk speedruns, and this run of the mostly-overlooked Project 8 by ThePackle was another great instance of skateboarding speed. This is mainly due to his excellent commentary, laid-back attitude, and obvious passion for games. The crowd was hyped, the donations poured in, and it was an all-around good time. The early morning was home to classic titles like Dark Souls and new favorites like Control, while the evening gave way to big runs like Sekiro and Super Mario Maker 2. Once again, variety was a big part of day seven, with a bunch of games from vastly different genres and franchises were shown. The final day of AGDQ 2020 has come and gone, and with it, another 24 hour of awesome speedrunning content.
